Baron von Zeppelin sind Ballons in verschiedenen Farben mit grinsenden Gesichtern, die in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS, Yoshi's New Island, Yoshi's Woolly World sowie Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World auftreten. Sie sind immer zu sehen, wie sie ein Item tragen. Das Item kann sowohl hilfreich als auch gefährlich sein, so kann es sich um einen 1-Up-Pilz oder um eine Spitz-Drossel handeln.
